Working with transaction splits
Transactions can be split between purses. For example, if a member had a transaction that exceeded the funds in his Health Care Spending purse, the transaction could be shared with the Line of Credit purse. These splits are imported into My Care Card and displayed on the Member Authorizations tab and the Member Transactions tab. Splits are indicated in My Care Card by split status icons.
Understanding Split Status icons
indicates the authorization is for a transaction with no splits
indicates the authorization is for a transaction is split between purses
indicates the authorization is for a split (or "child") of a transaction. Child transactions only appear when you have selected the Yes option for Show Split Detail.
