Changing your password

There are several situations that require you to change your password. If you are a new user, My Care Card requires that you change your password the first time you log on. If your password has expired, My Care Card prompts you to create a new password when you log on to the application. You also have the option of changing your password anytime. If you are assigned a temporary password, you must change it the next time you log on.

To change your own password:

1.    From the menu, click Support > Change Password. The Change Password page is displayed. If you are required to change your password, the Change Password page displays automatically after you log on to the application.

2.    In the Enter old password field, enter your existing password.

3.    In the Enter new password field, enter your new password. Your new password must satisfy the password validation rules.

4.    In the Confirm new password field, re-enter the new password exactly as you entered it in step 3.

5.    Click OK. My Care Card activates your new password. Use your new password the next time you log on to My Care Card.

6.    Click Continue to begin working in My Care Card.
