Viewing member transactions and transaction details

My Care Card displays the transactions and authorizations made by a member and his or her authorized users on the Member Transactions tab. To access the Member Transactions tab you must first find the member to whom the transaction belongs. From the Member Transactions tab, you can view detailed information for a specific transaction or authorization in a separate browser instance. The following procedure explains how you can review a member's transactions and authorizations, view transaction detail information, and make a purse to purse adjustment for a transaction.

To view the transaction history for a member:

1.   Find the member for whom you are viewing transaction information. The Member Profile tab is displayed.

2.   Click the Member Transaction tab to view it.

3.   From the Card Number list, select the card for which you want to view transactions. My Care Card selects All Cards as the default.

4.   From the Plan Year list, select the year to which the transaction applies. My Care Card selects the current plan year as the default.

5.   From the Purse list, select the purse for which you want to view transactions. My Care Card selects All Purses as the default.

6.   From the Source list, select the source for authorizations. My Care Card selects All Sources as the default

7.   Type a description in the Transaction Description field.

8.   Type a Merchant Category Code (MCC) in the MCC field.

9.   Select an Authorization type from the Authorization Response field. My Care Card selects All Authorizations as the default.

10.  Click Search. A list of posted transactions for the specified card and purse is displayed displaying the following information:

Split status icon-
Unsplit icon indicates an unsplit transaction
Split icon (parent) indicates a transaction is split
Split icon (child) indicates  a split (or "child") of a transaction

·.     Transaction date

·.     Post Date

·.     Purse ID

·.     Transaction description

·.     Transaction amount

·.     Last four digits of the card that made the transaction

·.     MCC

·.     Current substantiation status and stage.

11.  If you want to view detailed information for a specific transaction, click the Magnify icon icon. The Transaction Detail page is displayed listing the following data for the selected transaction:

·.     Merchant name

·.     Reference number

·.     Dispute indicator (YES/NO)

·.     Transaction code

·.     Authorization code

·.     Initial Authorization Indicator (If populated, this field lists the reason the transaction went into the reauthorization process)

·.     Merchant Name, City State, Postal Code, Country

·.     Merchant number

·.     MCC

·.     MCC description

Purse information

·.     Purse ID

·.     Plan year

·.     Purse Description

·.     Amount

·.     Purse Override Reason (If populated, this field lists the purse rules that were broken when the transaction was reauthorized)

Substantiation information

·.     Substantiation status

·.     Substantiation method

·.     Substantiation stage

·.     Substantiation date

·.     Current letter stage and date

·.     Clock reset (Yes if the clock was reset when the notice was resent)

·.     Date notice sent (This date will be different from the status date if the clock was not reset when the notice was resent)

·.     View notice (Select the icon to review the notice sent for the last stage.)

·.     Resend Notice (Select the icon to resend the notice, you have the option to change the notice format and reset the clock.)

12  If you want to perform a purse to purse adjustment, click the Adjust icon (). The Purse to Purse Adjustment page is displayed.

13.  Click Next to review the next transaction. When you are finished, click Back to Transactions to return to the Member Transactions tab.
