Blocking a card
When access to a card needs to be suspended temporarily, you may be asked to block the card from use until the situation is resolved. Once resolved, you can unblock the card. The following procedure explains how to block a specific card.
You can also perform a mass block on all cards in a hierarchy level.
To block an issued card:
1. From the menu, select Member Profile. The Search tab is displayed.
2. Find the member for whom you want to view purse information. The Member Profile tab is displayed.
3. In the Issued Cards section of the member profile, locate the card you are blocking.
4. From the Action list, select Block Card. The Block Card page displays in a separate window.
5. From the The card is being blocked because list, select the option that best describes the reason for the temporary block on this card.
6. In the Additional explanation field, type a brief description of the events that made blocking the card necessary.
7. Click Block Card. The Block Card page closes. My Care Card blocks the card in real time and the Member Profile shows the card's status as 'Blocked.'
