Recovering your password

When you cannot remember your My Care Card password, the application can securely recover it for you. Complete the following procedure when you have forgotten your password:

To recover your password:

1.    From My Care Card logon page, click the Forgot Password? link.

2.    In the User ID field, enter your User ID.

Note: If you cannot remember your User ID, contact your administrator. You cannot use the application to retrieve a lost User ID.

3.    Click OK. My Care Card randomly generates a temporary password and sends an email to the email address in your User Profile.

4.    Use the temporary password to log on to the application.

5.    After logging on to the application, the Change Password page is displayed. You must change your password immediately.

Alternatively, you can contact your administrator and he or she can reset your password.

Note: If you attempted to log on unsuccessfully three successive times, your account is locked. An administrator must unlock it before you can access My Care Card.
